The Two of Fire from Angel Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. This week’s card is about moving forward planted in the knowledge that “someone” has your back! Be fearless and confident as you open to and continue to move into the Light. When I was shuffling the deck and asking for guidance, before I picked a card, the message I received was to release the old, completely dying to it as a caterpillar dies to its existence, emerging as an exquisite butterfly. Then the story of the rock clinging to the roots of trees and water plants trying not to get washed away in the strong current… let go, let go … allow yourself to ride with the flow of life! There is no need or purpose in clinging to that which no longer serves you. Release it and make room to embrace for new light, new energies and new purpose.

Many times, the excitement felt for a new venture – or even just continuing with day to day life – gets muddied up because of fear of change, fear of the unknown, fear of failure, or even fear of success. There is a security in continuing in the way one has done in the past. There is also security in playing small, remaining small. Lack of confidence and the old habits, beliefs and limitations, judgments that are imbedded in our psyche contribute to not moving forward. This card is pointing to need to let go of what is holding you back. Take that step into the Light and believe in your abilities, your dreams, your vision.

You do have to take the step. But as you move into the Light you are opening a door for the universe to be your partner. Helpers will be covering your back, human or animal helpers, spirit guides and angels, the universe, your higher self and the Divine.

This graphic has wonderful, meaningful colors. The prevalence of greens speak to the heart chakra, the seat of the passion that is inside waiting to come to fruition. The yellows point to the solar plexus and the relationship with oneself, confidence, self esteem. The blue tip on the wand really jumps out.. a reminder to speak your truth as you allow yourself to open to new possibilities, new directions and new partnerships. Yellow flowers denote a successful beginning. This card also traditionally speaks to prosperity, achievement, invention, initiative and making a difference.

The darker background gives the sense of truly walking into the Light. … from the depths of the root and sacral chakras, the domain of the purely physical power and money – moving and growing to see, acknowledge and embrace a larger reality, a larger possibility. Whereas the background is all reds and oranges, the foreground is all the colors of the rainbow, your chakras, all the levels of existence working together. Have confidence in your dreams, your abilities. One step at a time, open up, receive, believe in yourself and move forward.
